Bloganuary 2023 - Day 17

Describe the happiest day of your life.

Okay, so day 16 didn't really apply to me. The prompt was "Do you have a memory that's linked to a smell?" The answer is no.

I can't say that I've experienced the happiest day of my life yet, but currently, my happiest day would have to be the day I got the phone call that I was no longer in the military. That was one of the most stressful times in my life.

I will stand on the hill of "it ain't for the weak". They literally tear you down to build you up. Mentally, physically, and emotionally. I'm grateful for the connections I made with people, but the day I got the call, I think I screamed and cried tears of joy for the freedom I finally had.
