How far back in your family tree can you go

This is by far the simplest to answer because I have been working on it for years.

Shout out to ancestry and one of my distant cousins (the self-proclaimed family historian) for helping me.

On my mom's side: I can go back 6 generations for my mother's maternal side (my great grandmother's great-great grandparents) which date back to births in the 1820's and 1830's. (We never knew who my grandmothers father was, although there is speculation and a last name, we don't have any more information on him (this was the 1930's for crying out loud).

For my mother's paternal side, I can go back 4 generations (my grandfather's paternal grandparents) and 5 generations (my grandfather's maternal great grandparents)

I actually spent the weekend celebrating the 3 matriarchs (my grandmothers last surviving sisters)

Now my dad's side is a little less impressive (we don't have reunions or talk about Bruno 😂. No seriously my grandmother rarely talks about her grandparents and apparently my grandfather didn't talk to his family). But I know about both sets of great-great grandparent's, actually experiencing life with my dads maternal grandmother in my younger years (until I was 6 or 7).
